By submitting an enquiry, purchasing our service or otherwise using DentalCareTravel, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Â

DentalCareTravel does not provide dental treatment or healthcare services.
2. What our service provides
Our Dental Treatment Abroad Coordination service is intended to help customers explore and compare dental treatment options in Lithuania.
For the €59 service fee, we may provide:
-
research into suitable dental clinics;
-
comparison of relevant clinics and dentists;
-
comparison of treatment proposals and prices received from clinics;
-
information about what is included in proposed treatment;
-
comparison of treatment stages, expected visits and practical requirements;
-
coordination of communications with selected clinics;
-
assistance understanding clinic information, warranties and aftercare arrangements;
-
general travel coordination information relating to the dental treatment journey.
The exact work undertaken may vary depending on the customer's circumstances and the information available.
The service is non-clinical.
3. What DentalCareTravel does not provide
DentalCareTravel does not:
-
diagnose dental conditions;
-
interpret X-rays, CBCT scans or other medical images clinically;
-
create or approve dental treatment plans;
-
determine which treatment a patient medically requires;
-
prescribe medication;
-
perform dental treatment;
-
provide medical or dental advice;
-
guarantee that a particular treatment is suitable for the customer;
-
guarantee the outcome of any dental procedure.
Any diagnosis, treatment recommendation, treatment plan, clinical assessment, medical advice or dental treatment is provided solely by the relevant licensed dental professional and healthcare institution.
4. Dental clinics and dentists
DentalCareTravel may research and present information about dental clinics and dentists based on information available to us and information provided by the clinics.
We may consider factors such as:
-
professional qualifications;
-
relevant experience;
-
areas of expertise;
-
clinic facilities;
-
international-patient experience;
-
published prices;
-
reviews and reputation;
-
treatment information;
-
stated warranty and aftercare arrangements.
However, inclusion of a clinic or dentist in our research does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement or certification of that clinic, dentist or treatment.
The final decision about whether to use a particular clinic or dentist belongs entirely to the customer.
5. Your relationship with the dental clinic
Dental treatment is provided under a separate agreement between the customer and the dental clinic.
The clinic is responsible for:
-
diagnosis;
-
treatment planning;
-
obtaining informed consent;
-
clinical decisions;
-
treatment;
-
medical records;
-
clinical complications;
-
warranties offered by the clinic;
-
clinical complaints;
-
treatment outcomes.
DentalCareTravel is not a party to the customer's dental treatment contract with the clinic.
Any treatment price, treatment plan, warranty or clinical information supplied by a clinic should be confirmed directly with that clinic before treatment.
6. Treatment proposals and prices
Treatment proposals and prices provided by clinics may be preliminary and may change following an in-person examination or further clinical assessment.
A remote estimate, quotation or treatment proposal does not necessarily constitute a final treatment plan.
The clinic may identify additional treatment requirements after examining the customer.
DentalCareTravel does not guarantee that:
-
a quoted price will remain unchanged;
-
a clinic will provide every treatment initially discussed;
-
the customer's final treatment will cost the same as an initial estimate;
-
a particular number of visits will be sufficient.
Customers should obtain confirmation directly from the clinic before committing to treatment or travel.
7. €59 service fee
The Dental Treatment Abroad Coordination service costs:
€59 EUR
The €59 fee is for DentalCareTravel's non-clinical research, comparison and coordination service.
It does not include:
-
dental treatment;
-
dental consultations charged by a clinic;
-
flights;
-
accommodation;
-
airport transfers;
-
travel insurance;
-
medical insurance;
-
medication;
-
additional treatment;
-
other costs charged by a dental clinic or third party.
Dental treatment is paid separately by the customer directly to the relevant dental clinic unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
8. Cancellation and refunds
Because DentalCareTravel sells its service online, statutory consumer cancellation rights may apply.
Where applicable, consumers have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days, subject to the applicable legal rules and exceptions.
Starting the service before 14 days
If you want DentalCareTravel to begin providing the service before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, you will be asked to expressly request that the service begins immediately.
If you subsequently cancel while the cancellation right still applies, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to the service that DentalCareTravel has already provided before your cancellation, where permitted by applicable law.
If you cancel before DentalCareTravel has started providing the service, you will generally be entitled to a refund of the €59 service fee, subject to applicable law.
If the service has been fully performed following your express request for it to begin immediately and the applicable legal requirements have been satisfied, your statutory right to cancel may end.
Nothing in these Terms limits or removes any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.
9. Your responsibility to provide accurate information
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information relevant to your enquiry.
This may include:
-
your requested treatment;
-
existing treatment plans;
-
dental quotations;
-
dental records;
-
X-rays or scans;
-
relevant medical or dental information.
DentalCareTravel is not responsible for consequences arising from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misleading information supplied by you.
You should tell us if information previously supplied becomes inaccurate or changes.
10. Dental and health information
DentalCareTravel may receive sensitive personal information, including dental records, treatment plans, X-rays, scans and other health information.
Such information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
Where health information needs to be shared with a dental clinic, we will do so only where there is an appropriate legal basis and, where required, your consent or authorisation.
Health information is treated as a special category of personal data under GDPR and requires appropriate legal safeguards.
Please do not send health information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
11. Clinic referral or commercial relationships
DentalCareTravel may have commercial or referral relationships with dental clinics.
Where DentalCareTravel receives a referral, coordination or other commercial fee from a clinic in connection with a customer, this relationship will be disclosed to the customer where required.
Any such commercial relationship does not change the customer's right to make their own decision about whether to use a particular clinic.
12. Independent decision-making
DentalCareTravel provides information and coordination to help customers make an informed decision.
You make the final decision.
You are not required to choose a clinic recommended or researched by DentalCareTravel.
You should consider the information provided by DentalCareTravel together with information obtained directly from the relevant dental professionals and clinics.
13. Travel and accommodation
DentalCareTravel does not sell flights as part of the €59 service.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing:
-
you purchase your own flights;
-
you pay your own accommodation costs;
-
you arrange your own travel insurance;
-
you are responsible for ensuring that your passport, visa and other travel documents are valid.
We may provide general travel information or help coordinate practical arrangements, but we do not guarantee flight schedules, accommodation availability, immigration decisions or other third-party travel services.
14. Aftercare and warranties
DentalCareTravel may help customers understand the clinic's stated warranty and aftercare arrangements before treatment.
We do not provide dental aftercare ourselves.
The treating clinic is responsible for its own clinical warranty, treatment and aftercare arrangements.
Customers should ask the clinic before treatment:
-
what its warranty covers;
-
how complications are handled;
-
whether a return visit to Lithuania may be required;
-
what costs are covered;
-
what costs the patient may have to pay;
-
what happens if treatment fails;
-
what happens if treatment is required in the UK after returning home.
DentalCareTravel cannot guarantee that a clinic will accept responsibility for a particular complication or reimburse travel, accommodation or additional treatment costs.
15. Emergencies
DentalCareTravel is not an emergency medical or dental service.
If you experience a dental or medical emergency, you should seek appropriate emergency or urgent healthcare immediately.
Do not wait for a response from DentalCareTravel.
16. Third-party information
Information supplied by clinics, dentists, hotels, airlines and other third parties may change.
DentalCareTravel will make reasonable efforts to provide useful and current information, but cannot guarantee that third-party information will always be complete, accurate or current.
17. Our responsibility
DentalCareTravel will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.
However, we are not responsible for:
-
the clinical outcome of dental treatment;
-
the actions or omissions of a dental clinic or dentist;
-
changes to clinic prices;
-
treatment complications;
-
treatment delays;
-
cancelled appointments;
-
airline cancellations or delays;
-
accommodation problems;
-
visa or immigration decisions;
-
losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer;
-
events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
18. Changes to your case
If your requirements change substantially after we begin work, additional research or coordination may require a separate agreement or additional fee.
We will tell you before charging any additional fee.
We will not charge additional fees without your agreement.
19. Complaints
If you have a complaint about DentalCareTravel's service, please contact:
hello@dentalcaretravel.com
Please provide your name, enquiry details and a description of the issue.
We will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable period.
Complaints concerning clinical treatment, diagnosis, treatment outcomes or a dentist's clinical decisions should be directed to the relevant dental clinic, because DentalCareTravel does not provide those services.
20. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is explained in our separate Privacy Policy.
By using DentalCareTravel, you acknowledge that you have been provided with information about how your personal data is processed.
Where required, separate consent will be obtained for the processing of health information.
21. Intellectual property
The DentalCareTravel website, branding, written materials, comparison formats and other original content belong to DentalCareTravel or its licensors.
You may use information provided to you for your own personal decision-making.
You may not reproduce, resell or commercially distribute DentalCareTravel's reports or materials without written permission.
22. Events outside our control
DentalCareTravel is not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including serious technical failures, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, major transport disruption, war, civil emergencies or significant failures of third-party services.
23. Applicable law and consumer rights
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to DentalCareTravel and the relevant transaction.
Where you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under the law of the country from which those rights cannot legally be excluded.
For UK consumers, mandatory UK consumer protections may apply to the transaction. Lithuanian consumer law also provides statutory protections for distance contracts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
